The story of the alliance

Who we are, what we stand for, and the people entrusted with leading Kenya’s agricultural co-operative movement forward.
Our Story

Born from a shared conviction

Agricomm Savings and Credit Alliance (CLG) Limited — ASCA — is a company limited by guarantee, incorporated under the Companies Act, 2015 on 27 February 2025 and operating as a not-for-profit institution.
It brings together Kenya’s regulated agricultural and community-based savings and credit co-operative societies (SACCOs) — institutions that sit close to farmers, producer co-operatives, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and rural households — on a simple conviction: that these societies achieve more for their members when they speak with one national voice.
The alliance is designed to translate individual SACCO strengths into collective influence, sector learning and practical solutions that improve the economic wellbeing of members. Every position we take is grounded in the internationally recognised co-operative principles and values.
